Welcome to the home page of the 2001 A.A.U. National Volunteer Program-of-the-Year, The Winston-Salem Stealers Girls Basketball Program. The Stealers were proud to be your hosts for both the 2001 16-and-under and 2004 15-and-under A.A.U. Division I National Tournaments. The Stealers hosted the 2011 5th-7th Grade Central Regional Tournament, March 25-27.  Feel free to browse through our web site to find information on all of our programs, including the 292 Basketball Program.  This site is updated several times daily, so please visit frequently to stay up-to-date on not only the happenings in our program, but happenings in girl's basketball nationally.

Brittany Cox (2002-2009) was named to the CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District team in district three. Only five players were selected for the Division II team and Cox was one of two coming from Conference Carolinas. Cox has the highest grade point average of those selected, now moving on to the national ballot for national Academic All-American consideration. Cox made the team thanks to her 3.92 GPA majoring in Sports Management. The junior currently leads the Lady Falcons and the conference averaging 19.7 points per game. Cox also lists among the nation’s top-20 in scoring average and three-pointers per game.  - Information courtesy of the www.gofalconsports.com.

Cox scored 32 points, 13 rebounds, 6 steals, 3 blockss, and steals as Pfeiffer won Saturday Night over Converse, February 4th.

Tryout requirements for the travel team:
1) "Intent To Tryout" Form.
2) Registration Form.
4) $200.00 Non-Refundable Tryout fee for non-292 Participants.

Applications to coach in our program for the 2012 Season are now available.

We are taking applications for our 2nd-7th grade teams, as well as our 8th-12th grade travel teams.

Email Tammy at assistant@wsstealers.org. You can attach a resume' to the application.

Grade-Based Skills, for 3rd-8th grade participants will return in May 2012, with Coach Robinson:) running the sessions.

Check back for information on grade-based skills including a registration form, times and days.

Coach Robinson :) will offer six month group skills for players in grades 8th-12th that will begin in April. 

Registration for these sessions will open up on January 6, 2012 with an early bird discounted period that will run through this month. 

The months for these sessions will be April, May, June, August, September and October.  There will be five (5) one hour sessions each month that will be worked around the team's practices and games.  The groups will be determined by Coach Robinson:).

The "Check-Out Center" option will be available on January 6th. Registration forms can be requested by emailing Tucker at skills@wsstealers.org.
